Frequently Asked Questions

It may be your question, too!

What is a drop-in class?

A drop-in class is basically like a walk-in, where an “appointment” is not needed. You may show up for class without  registering or signing up ahead of time and still take class.

I am on the waitlist for a class----how does it work?

It means we weren't able to get you a spot in class, due to class size limitations. However, if someone cancels their reservation and gives up their spot in class, then you will be able to attend and take part in class. You will get an email ONLY if you get a spot to let you know whether to make your way to class or not. Once you are notified, you must let the studio know you are confirming that you will attend. If you do not confirm, the spot will be given to the next waitlisted person.

Do you have classes for kids?

Yes we do! We have a youth dance program for ages as young as 5 years old.

How much are classes for kids?

Our youth dance program is a monthly basis payment. This is what we call enrollments. Payment price depends on if you are enrolling for one class per week or two class per week. One time per week is $60 per month, and two times per week is $100 per month. This monthly dues covers the classes for the month and will run automatically on the same day each month on the provided card you place on file.

How much are your classes?

Our adult drop-ins are only $12 per class that you take. We do also offer packages that allow you a better deal per class for purchasing ahead. We have 4 class packages, 8 class packages, and a one month unlimited package.

What is the pricing for beginners?

Our adult drop-ins are only $12 per class that you take. We do also offer packages that allow you a better deal per class for purchasing ahead. We have 4 class packages, 8 class packages, and a one month unlimited package.

Do you have classes for teens?

For ages 13 and up you may take our drop-in classes (excluding Burlesque and Heels).

I’m interested in some classes, how do I get started?

Just come and drop in to the class you would like to take or you can buy a package ahead of time online. As simple as that!

What is the difference between drop-in classes and enrollments?

The enrollments are private groups where only those registered for the class are allowed to participate. Enrollment classes have specified start dates whereas drop-in classes are open to anyone interested in popping in.

Do you take credit or debit card?

Yes. We take cash or card payments. We accept the major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

I have never taken a class before, or have no rhythm. Can I still take a class?

Of course! We welcome all skill levels and have a class for all levels of experience. In fact, if you have never taken a dance class before we encourage you to take class—that’s what we’re here for!

How long are the classes?

Our classes are one hour in length (give or take) unless otherwise indicated.

It’s my first class, what should I wear/bring?

It’s always a good idea to dress in comfortable exercise clothes, such as shorts, sweats, closed-toed or rubber shoes. Bring plenty of water as well, as you will sweat and get dehydrated.

Do I need to do anything for my first time coming in?

Arrive early. You will need to complete a waiver and new client form before you take your first class. The form takes about 5 minutes to complete. You can save time by signing the waiver online.

Am I too old to take a dance class?

Nonsense! You’re never too old to dance. We want everyone of all ages to be able to experience dancing. If you’re up for it, come on in and boogie with us.

What time are your classes?

Our full class schedule can be found in the “CLASSES” page. We update this every time a change occurs and keep it up to date as much as possible. Please be cautious though, and check our social media for any day of class cancellations or substitutions in case you’re looking for something specific.

Which classes do the packages apply to?

The packages apply to all regularly scheduled Legacy drop-in classes. So this does not apply to anything indicated as enrollments, master class, or specially priced classes such as a 90-minute class.

What if I am looking to just take one class to try it out, can I just pay for the one class?

Yes, there is no commitment required and it is just $12 for each class that you take. As many or as little as that may be.
